Installed Links LS 1999 on 2 computers on a home network.
(Win98 & Win ME). DirectX 9 and TCP/IP installed on both
computers. Both computers connected online using DSL.
Setup game using Internet TCP/IP Connection for Direct
Play. I "Host" a game one one PC and "Join" with the
other.
"Waiting To Begin" box showing both computers as connected
appears on each PC.
On host machine I select a course, choose stroke play,
select my player and can go no further. "Next" button
remains grayed out.
The client machine waits for host to select game. No
update messages appear on client machine.
At this point I can go no further. Chat messages can be
sent and received on both PCs.
