1. hit the top of the amp with a screwdriver while screwing in the 12v+ while everything was plugged in and heard a spark.

2. Hit the bottom of the amp on the bolt in the floor

Did I ruin this amp?

After those happened, the green light would turn on for about half a second then slowly dim to nothing. I saw it red the first couple times, then it would always do this in green.

Nothing on the inside smells, nor are any capacitors blown, or anything else out of place.

It is a good practice to turn everything off before you ever screw anything. The LED is a power indicator - maybe you blown a fuse (check it with a multimeter). The power side is on the left (top picture) this is were usually gets the pain when struck. But I guess it is ok.

Yeah I know that know...I will always take the battery off when doing any work.

know I know why those battery cut-off switches are such a good tool.

Well, it turns out it was the ground. I didn't sand the body for the ground.
