i have the dell latitude csx h500 laptop and here is my problem.
i have a clean hdd with no operating system on it.
i have a external cd-rom drive fujitsu-siemems traveller cd-24 li which i have 2 cable options of either using a parallell port cable or a pcmcia cable.

i intend to install either winme or win xp as the operating system but as i dont have a 3.5 fdd to go with the laptop to install the bootdisk drivers so how do i get the cdrom to start to install the operating system as this is my only means of installing windows
