Hi.

I'm using a dual monitor setup since a few days with a Samsung 2232BW 22" as my primary monitor and my old Acer AL 1916 19" as my secondary monitor and I really enjoy it. However, when I booted up this morning, my 19" lcd screen was my primary screen showring the task bar and such, so after trying to switch it in the windows desktop settings a few times with no success it broke down, and was showing weird vertical lines and artifacts all over the screen. My primary monitor still worked fine. So after trying a few things, like switching the connections to my graphics card, I thought i broke my screen.

Now, I took a picture and was about to post here if it was possible to fix it or that I just caused irreversable damage (http://img3.imagebanana.com/view/i6ajtsal/3483257400_459c1b3031.jpg), however after having it on for a while it just suddenly worked normal again.

So now I'm really intrigued about how this really works. My monitor, after appeared to have been broke for a few hours, just fixed itself? Well, obviously it didn't, but I'm still curious why that happens and was wondering if any of you know or could point me in the right direction.

Thanks :)
