Ok I have some old car subs from my wifes car we sold and want to add them to my home theater setup for kiks. One of my friends gave me an old Crown CE-1000 amp he had in his garage this is 1000 watt 2 ohm stable amp. Question since this amp only amplifies has no lo pass circ in it how would I do this. Things I came up with but not sure what is best.... a small mixer cheap behringer or somthing just turn down all the freq settings but the bass? would this allow the bass to pass over a wide rang of bass or just one small freq range? And the other option I came up with was a lagit equalizer this would prob take me a while to figure out cuz i hate them. Any pre built low pass I can just stick in there? Any suggestions?
