slipstreaming F6 drivers for XP installation

I'm installing WinXP on a clean SATA drive. Now, my mobo's integrated SATA controller is not native; so, I need to press F6. I was thinking of an alternative method for implanting those drivers. For the record, my board does not support booting from USB; so, a USB floppy or thumb drive is out of the question. But how about slipstreaming the drivers onto the XP disc? Could I install the SATA HDD in this manner? Has anyone ever tried this?

Excuse me? Can you elaborate on that, wusy? I don't appreciate those remarks; it was very rude.

And I did look. Another poster at pcguide.com poised the same question. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you for the heads up. I also checked google using a different keywords and found the right information.

Unfortunately, I don't know what you mean by your comments. I fail to see how I've made persuasive opinions in my posts, assuming that's what you mean by "strong opinionised".

Take Care.

Don't pay Wusy no mind, its his time of the month!

Did you get your answers?

You can always install a Floppy Drive if needed.
