Dear All,

I am new to Windows XP so please bear with me.

I have created a user account for my wife which is a limited account.

As a matter of security, I disable my network connection be default,
only enabling it when I want to go onto the internet. My administrator
account can enable/disable the connection, but my wife cannot.

I have tried changing the permissions on the shortcut but this has no
effect.

Is there a method for giving suitable permissions to a limited account?

Ian.
