Well, I have tried Overclocking an Athlon XP-M 2600+ (Still unsuccesful, look for "HELP! IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED!!! HELP!!!" thread if you can help please!) and my PC crashed and rebooted. I have a SONY CD-RW CRX300E drive and now Windows has disabled it as Code 22. I have had Windows try to enable it again, but it has FAILED. When trying to find a stable overclock for the past 3 days, that drive has worked until that last system crash about 2-5 hours ago. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
My PC:
Athlon XP-M 2600+ @ 2.4Ghz (UNSTABLE)
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
1Gb (512Mb x 2) Corsair XMS C2PT @ 2.5-3-3-6
Thanks to anyone who has looked at this post. A simple system restore seems to have done the trick. (Interesting enough, it was after I had installed some Logitech software... and after my unstable overclock crashed) Anyhow, I will post if the problem occurs again.
My first drive was DVD Rom by sony back a few years ago. It truly sux. I had a lot of problems with that. After which i got Liteon cd writer with no problems at all. Sony should stick with hi-fi's.
