Does anyone know why my tv just turns black in middle of program?

Hello,
When im watching tv it all of a sudden just goes black but you can still hear the program playing . so i turn it off and then back on and it works and then depending on what it feels like it will do it AGAIN .
Can any body help ????

What manufacturer is your TV?

Is this an old one, maybe their is something wrong with the flyback transformer circuits. It could be that one of the components fails and it can't give supply the flyback transformer or the flyback itself is defective.
