A friend has lost the backup disks for his Acer 5536643g QL-64 laptop, does anyone know of anywhere that i can download these for him ?

Yes, his system has corrupt files, need a complete reinstall, after speaking to him, seems he never made back ups in the first place, didn't think he'd need them, lesson learned i think !

Many laptops have a restore functionality accessable at the post screen.

You don't need backup disks.

 

Torrent an OEM version of your given windows version, download drivers from your manufacturer's website, install, and be happy. :hello:

 

Edit: forgot to mention - use the key on the bottom of your notebook when windows asks for a CD key.
