Hi!

I have an Asus P5AD2-E Deluxe motherboard and a Intel Pentium 4 550J 3.4 GHz CPU.

I want to install 2 GB memory. Can anyone tell me what kind of memory (PC4200, PC4300, etc) I should get to get the most out of my configuration.

And Should I use 4x512 MB or 2x1GB to get optimal performance.

Thanks!

This board supports up to FSB1066 so basically you need DDRII-533(PC2-4200). Anything over that will only be usefull when OverClocking the memory.

If you dont plan/wont OC, go with branded P4200, you can go for Kingston/crucial/samsung and such.

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0
