Hello,

Im not able to search in my computer as i get this error "A file that is
required to run search companion cannot be found. You may need to run setup. "

According to a article in
http://support.microsoft.com/defau [...] -us;319949

I already have both XP service packs in my computer so I was not able to
preform Method 1 and 2, now when i tried the Method 3 i was not able to find
Srchasst.inf file in the inf folder as I have srchasst.PNF not .inf file
which gives no option to install on right click.

I would be thankful to you if you could help me with this as i want Search
option to work in my computer.

I have a recovery cd but I dont want to reinstall windows for search option.

Regads

Bob
