To get into BIOS usually press Del key as computer boots -- or F2 -- failsafe way is to press load of keys until error message pops up which is usually accompanied by message on how to access BIOS.

It should be either in the drives section or in boot order section.

<del> and <F2> are not the correct keys - so I will try other and combinations like <ctrl> <Fx> and so on .

Did you try that trick ? Otherwise you may have to download the manual -- is on the CD which came with the computer or maybe available on the Compaq site.
