"Is there a monitor(CRT or LCD) that I should buy that is better for gaming and graphics as of now(05/06/2009)?"

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 955DF and the thing is a BEAST, with .20 dot pitch. I am running it at 75 hz with V sync and at 1280x1024 res. It just keeps on going like the energizer bunny. I would like a higher rez though and better refresh rates mostly. Should I go over to the dark side and get a LCD with 2ms(grey and black), or should I go with a new CRT? I need something good on the eyes since I stare at one all day for my job. If so, which one as a top 3 if possible! Thanks ahead of time. Hopefully this will help with my upcoming purchase...
