Hi there, I have an AL1916W LCD Monitor, I have it connected to two computers with a KVM switch. I have had this monitor for at least two years, working flawlessly until lasst night. This morning, the monitor was on energy saving mode, but I couldn't get it to work with either computer. The computers are fine, because I was able to connect an old CRT monitor to the KVM, and it works fine.

I have tried the LCD monitor with a another computer and it odesn't work, it has a blank screen, the power light comes on, when the computer turns-on, but I have no access to any of the menus.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

It is possible the CCFL backlighting has died. If it is still under warranty then get an RMA, if not then you'll need to pay the cost of repair or buy a replacement.

CCFL = Compact Cold Florescent Lamp
