Choosing between these two 24" monitors

I am in search of a 24: monitor for my 4890 card Only for gaming

I was looking at these two:

I love LG products and have never been disappointed. I notice that their monitors get a lot of attention as does Asus. Can I not go wrong with either? Any recommendations? (No Dell please, I don;t like Dell).

Asus is 1920 x 1200
LG is 1920 x 1080

Thank you. Ugg, it's a spit lol. Well, Im stuck between the LG 24" monitor or the Asus 24" monitor that is "Vista compatible". I didnt see it labeled but the product summary says the Asus is HD as is the LG model. The difference between the 2 is the resolution and brightness. The Asus is brighter, less epxensive and has 1920x1200 whilte the LG is 1920x1080. Is this a noticeable difference minus 120 pixels? I noticed that one reviewer said that the Asus isnt top of the line, I hear LG is. Im just curious because I got a 10 percent coupon from Newegg and I want to use it on a new monitor.
