I have a problem with my computer. I have a Compaq Presario R3000 running on the Windows XP. My battery life is good, really good. The problem I have is when I plug up my power cord into the computer it will shut off. It does this even with the battery fully charged up! What could be my problem?

It's probably that the connector on your board is going bad, and shorts when you plug in your power supply.

If it does this all the time, how do you charge your battery, anyway?
