My AV (Panda IS) poped up saying a program was trying to access the internet.
There was no indication shown of what thAT program was. Access was
therefore denied. I then checked the AV for program list and found the
denied program and location.

This was .................C:\Program Files\In

Windows explorer doesn't see this in Program Files even showing normally
hidden and system files.

Can anyone tell me what it is ??

Sounds like Panda is only showing the start of the program's path to me.
it's probably. Check what folders start with 'in'. eg c:\program
files\internet explorer\

The programs starting "In......" are:-

InstaCropper\........ (Crop tool for Photo editing)
InstallShield\PackageForTheWeb4\Languages
Intel\.............
Internet Explorer\............

There are no others. Panda shows the program as "In". I'll remove and see
what happens.

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer is where Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe)
lives. Leave it alone unless you're sure what you're doing.

Wesley,

I removed, through Panda program listing, the program item listed as "In".
IE was also listed but left untouched. Whatever "In" was/is, if internet
access is required, Panda would through up asking for permission to do so.
As yet nothing has happened. Thanks for your interest.
