SATA and IDE?

hello i was wondering if i could set up my system with 2 SATA hard drives, 2 IDE hard drive and 2 cd roms?

i have a motherboard with 2SATA and IDE

alright thanks and btw is it easy to set up a SATA hard drive with windows on it? cause i think i have to active SATA thing in bios and then select scsi option i think in windows install

depend on the motherboard/controller you are using.

If it has native SATA suport, then if RAID is disabled, the controller will work with the SATA HDD just like any other drive.

If it is an onboard solution, then drivers for the controller will be needed.
