Since I installed Yahoo Messenger v7 Beta, I encountered this
problem...

Whenever I click on the top side of the window which is the "Status"
bar...the application will just close without even an error message.

Here's the picture of the button:

Also, this problem occurs when I right clicked a contact.
I reverted to Yahoo Messenger 6 but the problem continues...What do I
have to do?

try uninstalling and then reinstalling it that should cure the problem

Hello,

You should realize that:

1) Its a beta version of Yahoo messenger
2) It is a Yahoo! product nd not a Microsoft product
3) Your best bet would be to contact the beta team at Yahoo! and file a bug report with them.
