I'm building a rig: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] e#t1936850

but can't decide which monitor to get.

I currently have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] _-24236050

in the build, but I want to see if this one is better:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824236051

The second one costs 10 dollars more than the other, but has 1920 x 1080, whereas the first only has 1680 x 1050.

I don't know how my rig will run at 1920 x 1080, but I think it will runnin really smooth at 1680 x 1050. So is it better to buy the 1920 x 1080 and run it at a lower res?
