Hello
I installed Windows Vista on one of my friend's HP Computer (Pavilion a1240n Desktop PC). After installing it, I don't hear any sound when I try to plug in headset/speakers. It says in the task bar that 'no sound device is plugged in'. When I right click My Computer, and go into Device Manager, sound video and Game Controllers. It shows High Definition Sound Device.

How and where can I find drivers for my sound card? I have been looking but I had no luck.

Thanks in advance

If it's got onboard sound you need to find the drivers for the associated chipset, i.e. my HP has NVidia nForce. If that proves too cumbersome, you can probably find a PCI sound card for $5 at a computer show.
