We bought an extended warranty o our photosmart C7280 on Jan 6/2009. The printer has since stop printing, jams, makes printing noises and produces blank sheet or if... it does print,prints off the page.
we cleaned the rollers as directed by Rajat in India at HP, 5 times only to have the printer relapse into its old ways after printing less than 10 copies. We called HP on May 7, its now the 15,th to activate our warranty. We made 7
phone calls, sent three fax letters with receipts. result nothing... nada.. zip.
HP disavows all knowledge of our contract, the link on the receipt doesnt work, the phone number has been disconconnected as well as changed on their hP care website page... imagine that.
What to do short of taking them to small claims court which I am fully prepared to do.
Bottom line, I would donate 75.00 to HP for an extended warranty next day ever again... its been
worthless.
