Here is a quote from Westinghouse about their LCD monitors:
"Westinghouse Digital's LCD monitor family utilize an array of proprietary technologies to ensure the best viewing experience possible including: all-glass design that incorporates a minimal bezel, HD-Grade panels that utilize high-quality HDTV glass and DayBright panel technology for stunning daytime or nighttime viewing."
I emailed Westinghouse about what they mean by an "all-glass design."
I know I will never receive a reply, so I'm hoping a forum member can answer my question.
If I reach out and touch the monitor screen, am I touching a glass panel
or the usual soft plastic screen found on most monitors?
I'm about to setup a new pc with a dual monitor configuration. A few
companies make monitors with glass screens. That's what I want.
When they say "all-glass design" and "HDTV glass" it seems logical to
assume that the screen is a glass panel. Until I know for sure, I'm not
going to buy.
