OK, so I've been looking around at different lists and forums on which LCD screens are the best for gaming (I've been mostly looking at 24" ones), and it seems that either the lists are outdated, or the screens are somewhat old (is this bad btw?). So what 24" (i could go with a 23 or 22 inch to, if it would be worth it...) would you suggest? And where would you suggest buying them? Newegg doesn't seem to have a very good selection; all the screens that i've tried to find that were suggested by lists were discontinued. Are most sites fine?
BenQ and LG are good brand for a budget monitors. Look for very low GTG ratings 3ms or lower if you can find one. Samsung tend to be more expensive the two mentioned. Don't get old models unless it has very good reviews to back it up and have good reliability. The risk of getting it repaired afterwards would be slim.
It's hard to make recommendation on particular monitor as its availability and pricing differs from different locations, so if you're considering on a particular monitor you really need to read the reviews.
Based on user reviews it seems to be a good monitor.
Also, if you are looking for a 24" 1920 x 1200 LCD monitor that is not TN, then you need to push your budget to about $600 unless there's a sale at which point it will probably cost you $500 (example: Dell 2408WFP two weeks ago).
