Hi,

I have read the FAQs (widescreengaming, etc) and searched on Google, but have not found a clear answer...

I want to buy a 16:9 monitor so I can hook up my PS3 to it and play thru HDMI. My problem is, I also game a lot on the PC. AFAIK, most PC games run 16:10 aspect ratio... so wouldn't that be a problem?

If i got a 16:9 monitor, would all my PC games be stretched and look all funky? Or would there simply be black bars? Or yet, would I be able to choose?

Lastly, what would you recommend? :pt1cable:

I am currently looking at:

- ViewSonic X Series VX2260wm
- ASUS VH222H

Most modern games (if not all) will support 16:9 aspect ratio (1920 x 1080, 1600 x 900). Hell, I get those resolution options when I load Far Cry 1 which was released back in 2003/2004.
