Can someone help me out please?

Suddenly my benq241w does not show boot until vista starts. The VGA is still working OK. Is it possible that this is because my wife first connected digital camera through a side usb ports, then turned on the monitor, then computer?

I have been reading about corrupted EDID issue - if so does anybody have working EDID file (either bin or other format readable by EDID programmers)

Thanks,

Peter.

Check your primary monitor and move it back to benq if it's been reconfigured.

Try to remove the connected usb camera and reboot.

Hi,

I have only one monitor. I tried various combinations of resets, including removing USB connection to my photo camera. (not USB webcam). I also tried a few solutions found here:

One thing that did not work was the dvi recovery, but it is expected, since it was written for older cards and older monitors.
Right now I am at the point of looking for EDID values so that I can see if these are corrupted.

Peter.
