MBP Current Model

Does anyone have anything positive to say about the new MBP models? Right now I am typing on my 2 year old model (matte) and behind me (large window), lots of light coming in and no glare whatsoever. I have to buy a new one, and was thinking glossy, but I am hearing nothing but negative things about it. My friends who have the Macbook model, do not seem to know the difference and have no complaints. Anyway, now that they are offering the computer in matte, I thought I would make a purchase. Also, new models might be coming out in 2010 or sooner, so I don't want to make an expensive mistake. Just wanted feedback about the keyboard, screen and computer itself. I love mine, but it gets so HOT that I have to push it away at times; otherwise, no other complaints.
