OK, so I am going to go buy a new monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 or something like that. I currently have a 1280x1024. What do I have to do when switching the monitors to get the new widescreen to display with its native resolutions?

Register or log in to remove.

In Win XP:

1. right click on your desktop
2. select Properties
3. click Settings tab
4. drag the resolution bar until the resolution size equals the native resolution of your monitor
