I have a dvd player with 5.1 analog out. i'm trying to find a way to mix the signal to 4 channels so to hook it to my external multichannel receiver (that needs a center speaker but i don't have one).
The dvd player does not have the option in the settings to do that. Software players do. Also, the receiver does not support 'phantom' channel.
So, the way it is now, i can send the 5.1 sound through the analog outputs to the receiver but then i don't get anything from the center.

Any ideas on how to do it??????
Are there any dvd-players that allow that kind of control???
