Problems with Win7 Setup not finding my SSD when trying to reinstall.

Hey guys.

I was running Win7 evaluation on my custom build:
AMD FX-6100 (default clock)
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 (Integrated Radeon HD 3000)
2x4GB Corsair Vengence
Sapphire Radeon HD 6570
CiT Vantage Warlord
500w PSU
OCZ 128GB SSD

When I had a problem with AtiPcie.sys. I set it to shut down one night. Didn't. Couldn't do anything but move the mouse. So I did a hard shutdown.
When I tried to boot it up, it would crash before or at the login screen.
I had files on the SSD and I wanted to back them up. Since I couldn't use safe-mode (hung at AtiPcie.sys) tried installing Win7 evaluation on a 2TB SATA HDD I had, connecting it as the second SATA drive. Did Win7 setup and installed on HDD. Booted with the HDD and it couldn't find my SSD.

Now, my motherboard can find my SSD (on Boot Options, both in the BIOS and when pressing F8), but Win7 Setup doesn't find it.

I'm stuck here. I want to get the files off the SSD and believe that it's the MBR that's stopping Windows 7 Setup from seeing the SSD.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section. I'll be happy to have it moved.
Any help would be appreciated. Dban would be my last resort.
