I am considering purchasing a HP AMD Athlon II M300 notebook, 3 GB Memory, 250 GB HD, with windows 7 for $449.99. This would be a Christmas gift for a 14 yr. old., he's been wanting a laptop for sometime and this seems to be a good value. What do you think.

Well, what does he plan to use a laptop for? Gaming? Schoolwork? Etc.
