what does burn proof mean?

hello, I just bought a burn-proof Sony 52/32/52 OEM CD-writer. It's the first time I've encountered the term.

And coasters are partially burned failed write CDs, that inherited the name coasters, but actually make crappy coasters because of the hole in the middle, they're actually more fun to use as throwing discs, especially if you sharpen the edges. ;)
