How important is a bios upgrade on a dell dimension 4300?

Go to Dell's site and see if there are any suggestions that an upgrade to your model is significant.

The rule is if it doesn't address an issue affecting you, don't bother -- in other words, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

not critical on and older model ,like filhart said just leave it alone if it runs fine!
