I am attempting to run System File Checker utility on an XP professional
workstation. When SFC prompts saying "Files that are required for Windows
to run properly must be copied to the DLL Cache" "Insert your Windows XP
Professional CD-ROM now". The problem is, I do not have the original
Operating System CD that came with the machine. I have another XP
Professional CD from my other computer, the SFC keeps prompting for the
original CD. How do get around this situation without the original CD? Thank
you in advance for your help.

This may be a path problem. If you are familiar with the registry, and
know how to restore it in case of system failure, look at this key...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\SourcePath:REG_SZ:<drive
letter>:

After exporting the key to a file - for back up, point the path to the
drive letter for your CD. Here, for example, it is simply H:\
