I/O Device error

hi
i have a mp3 player and i cannot copy any songs in there it ends with error could any 1 help!!!!!!
(the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error)

Check the player's settings -- there are two ways to connect a player to a computer:
1) As media device which runs via Windows Media Player
2) As removable drive which runs via My Computer and appears as an extra drive letter.
