well i have been using an old CRT montior for last one year and recently i have upgraded my system

MOBO - Gigabyte EP45C-DS3R (crossfire ready mobo )
PSU - Thermaltake 500 watt tr2 psu
RAM - DDR II (800 MHZ) dual channel 4.00 GB ram
GPU - Sapphire HD4870 512 MB
CPU - Core 2 Duo E8400 at 3.00 Ghz
Monitor - Philips 16 inch CRT monitor

Sofar gaming experience has been great but they look way better in LCD monitors so here's what im thinking i want to buy an 19 ich LCD monitor but im wondering wether mycard would bottleneck on 19 inch LCD so guys need your help if any of u using an 4870 on 19inch LCD screen pls help me because i really need to know wether it would perform good on 19 inch LCD screen or not .

what no replies yet please guys i need help and besides one more question would i be able to play games with high settings on 19ich lcd montior with hd4870 ?

You'll be fine. The 4870 should be able to handle a 24" monitor at 19x12 res. My 4850 handles 16x10 perfectly on a 21".

Thanks for your post.. well it's good to knw that 4850 works well on 16x10 :) and can u play games with high settings on that resolution ?

What do you think of HD4850 on a Full HD 1080p monitor(1920x1080)?
