hi,

I have winXP home. I want to have a dual boot system with Win2000. I have a free partition for Win2000. Is it just a case of putting the CD in & letting it install. Will it sort out the dual boot itself or do I have to do anything? I don't want to have to uninstall WinXP so can I just add Win2000 or should Win2000 go on first?

Thanks for any help

James

On the fourth attempt Windows finally started to install until:

The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing. Value 0 on the line in section [SourceDisksFiles] with key "SP1.cab."
setup cannot continue..

Any ideas?
