Hello,

It seems like my Windows installer has a mind of its own. It seems to think
that I need to install Microsoft Office XP Small Business. Here are the
symptoms:
a) The problem occurs whenever I turn on the machine after power off
b) The problem also occurs everytime I try to open a Word document or
powerpoint slide.
c) The windows installer automatically pops up with the following message
"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Small Business".
d) It then goes into information gathering mode for a few seconds.
e) Then it tell me that the feature that I am trying to install is on a
CD-ROM or other removable device that is not available.
f) At this point, when I have to hit the cancel button and it cancels the
operation.

This is driving me absolutely nuts. I do not know why windows things it
needs to install Microsoft Office XP on my PC. How do I turn off Windows from
automatically trying to install this everytime?
