Hi all.

I bought a 19" widescreen LCD monitor yesterday and it arrived in the post this morning.
However, it does not display at all.

If I let the computer boot as normal (by default it boots in DVI) the screen flashes "no signal" for an instant before it goes completely black. If I press F8 during startup and boot in VGA mode, the screen flashes on for an instant before the screen goes blank once again.

Any ideas before I send the monitor back tommorow?

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm fairly sure this is not a problem with my video card- the "no signal" message also fails to display properly when it's not plugged into the computer.
