Hi! THG tested the ATEN KVM(CS-1764) on July 15,but I guess they didn't connect motherboards that use the nforce chipset. The ATEN DVI KVM has a big problem that is incompatible with the nforce motherboards.ATEN has admitted they can't solve this bug by upgrading firmware. I also found CS-1764 has a compatible problem with Shuttle XPC(ST20G5, using ATi Radeon Xpress200 Northbridge + ULi M1573 Southbridge). OH! I forget to tell the problem. The problem is that when powering on computers, the mouse and keyboard will move delay,no matter entering Windows or not ! If I insert a USB PCI card on the MB,then connect KVM to USB card, the problen is gone !It is a very serious problem. So.... Be careful ! If you want to buy this product, wait until 2006, maybe ATEN can develop a new IC to solve it !
