I'm crashing in PCMark05 and 04, during the write memory sections...bsod and reboot...I am unable to read the bsod before it restarts.

I'm running standard timings, 2 2 2 7 1T @ 200 at stock V on the cpu and the memory. The issue happens with both my 3000+ and my 3800+. So i think we can rule out the cpu. Memtester86+ runs perfectly...Left it on over night, finished 26x with 0 errors. I occasionally crash on 36m using SuperPi as well, but lately i haven't been able to replicate that.

Fixes: Running at 2T timings, or running with either stick of ram (ie taking 1 of the two out...). Both sticks work flawlessly when running alone.

Any ideas? Mobo? Ram?

Has your system always done this, or is this a new symptom? Have you changed any hardware lately? What brand and spec PSU do you have?

I found my answers...But anyway, i've got an Enermax 535 Whisper II.

I just got the 3800 and the Jetway mobo.

Started checking around...the most obvious thing i found was the article on Anandtech...then i found another...good reviews both of them. The other site (can't remember where it was now...) actually used my mobo, ram and a single 6800gt...about as close as you can come to my setup. Both with no problems...However, i hit up different forums...especially ocers and [h]...ocers couldn't help me...[h] had a TON of people with the board...most were/are having troubles keeping 1T timings with TCCD ram...Sounds like to me that a couple of good boards found their way in to the hands of a couple of reviewers...and well...they convinced a few of us to leap b4 we looked. Btw...the free EVGA board that comes with the 7800gtx...yea thats exactly the same board as mine. Found that out too. It's supplied by Jetway.

So now i'm waiting on a new bios. Apparently someone took a closer look at what the memory timings are, and they're really really tight. Too tight. Write's are having issues with the TCCD. (or i'm assuming it's writes...since it's crashing out for me in superpi and pcmark 04,05 [during the write section only]). The only options to change ram timings are the most obvious...2 2 2 7 1T...so what is that...ah CAS CL and whatever else there. I spent hours trying to make 1T work...I've tried every change that's available...(1T will work at lower speeds...and boots where it is now...but thats it).

Anyway so now i'm running 2T timings to make everything happy for now...i can't wait to leave that behind (or get a new board...since that seems like the real issue...).
