Resolution not support to Monitor

Hello,
i have one DVR but i can't view the in my monitor, that shows resolution not supporting.. what can i do? i can change the monitor but i don't know what is suitable monitor LG LE6016D DVR

What are you connecting to what and how? Monitor or TV?

What connection type are you using ? HDMI, DVI, S-video, composite video, VGA, Europian SCART, etc. ?

Anyway, if your DVR is previously set to, let's say, the highest resolution ( example, 1920 by 1080 progressive ) it supports instead of on Auto, but your monitor can't support 1920 by 1080 progressive, then you get the above message " Resolution not supported.. ". Because you can't see anything on the monitor, you can't set the resolution to a lower value your monitor can support.

What you can do is, reset your DVR to Deafults if there is a way to do it, or connect your DVR to a high-resolution monitor of your friend and open the Setup menu of your DVR and set the resolution to a lower value your monitor can support.
