I have a Dell dimension 4800 that was unplugged for about 6 months. Now when you plug it it you have to wait after turning the power on and pressing the powerbutton for it to start. Even then it won't start it will blink the hard drive light, the power light, the keyboard and mouse until it decides to start. After the first start it is fine until the power is off for a while. I know the battery is not the problem but I changed it any way. I tested the power supply and it is fine on all rails, and the motherboard recieves the power because I can see the light on it. Eventually it will start. Any ideas what could bee the problem. Bruce
