Hello,

I am getting ready to purchase components for an AMD build (gaming and general use). I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my selections (different parts, more money here, less there, etc).

Not sure about overclocking, not interested in SLI. Planning on running raid (stripe).

I could use some PSU and case recommendations. I was thinking Antec Sonata II and using the included SmartPower2.0 450 PSU. Is that PSU going to be sufficient?

I am around $1500 (assuming sonata) and would like to stay under 1750 total, so I have just a bit to play with.

For now I will be reusing my current CRT monitor (thinking quick upgrade to LCD, though). Also thinking about just moving my old sound blaster live to the new system for now.

Will I need additional cooling?

Thanks in advance!
