Hi All,

I am hoping someone can help me out.

I recently build my own system and I've noticed that my speakers (Logitech X-530) are making this windy/static type of noise. It sounds like wind is blowing through it, I'm not sure how to better describe it.

The speakers do not make this noise on my old computer.

I am using the ASUS P6T SE iX58 Socket 1366 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard.

Thanks!

See if this helps -- go into the computer's sound controls and either turn down or disable MIC input.

hotfix is easy... plug speekers in microphone jack, when the pop window comes up, select that Headphones are connected... instead of mic.
This could help...
HOwever, it doesnt repair the problem, just avoids it for a while.
I have same problem.
It will be mother-board problem... in better scenario sort of drivers problem.
