I have been trolling, but have been unable to find out how to install my chipset drivers for my MoBo - Asus M4A78T-E

From what I read Vista Drivers are suppose to work on Windows 7 as they have the same Kernel, but when I try to install the Chipset drivers that I got from Asus's Website or the Driver Disk that came with my MB, I get this message:

Motherboard Support CD does not support this operating system.

How can I get my drivers to install so that I can get the full use of my MoBo w/ crossfire and all those bells and whistles?

I guess I should have done more research before I jumped in head first installing W7.

Asus - M4A78T-E
Windows 7 64bit
4GB OCZ Reaper 1600 DDR3
AMD Phenom II x3
2x ATI HD 4850's
Crossir 750w PSU

Well I Explored the file that I downloaded from Asus, and ran the Catalist Center install which installed USB and a few other things, it seems to be working fine, I was able to install to configure Crossfire.

I am still going to try registering and getting the Win7 Drivers, something just does not feel right not having to install the Chipset Drivers......

But like I said all seems fine, I guess I will really know once I actually start Benchmarking and Testing the GPU's tonight...

Eternal7331,

If you continue to have trouble with your motherboard drivers it may be helpful to know that Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads there and bookmark the page to save for the future.
