i bought a q1 ultra by samsung from a pawn shop. it was an awsome deal. a thousand dollar machine for 300 bucks. can't beat that i thought. that is until i got it home and found that i need a restoration disk to get in to it. there's no other way to bypass the login screen password. what do i get when i call samsung i'm told i can't buy the disks from them and microsoft say they won't help because federal laws say its hacking. talk about a catch 22. now the damn thing wont read the cd-rom drive i bought. it's a total piece of ***. why?

It's not a piece, you're just stupid for not mandating that the machine be powered on before you bought it. Would you ever buy a car without a test-drive?
