G'Day,

I am looking to add cachable ram to my ASUS P55T2P4 board.
I currently have 256MB of System Ram that's 4x64MB 72-Pin cards (I think they are EDO).

Looking at the board it appears I have both the TAG RAM slot for an IC, aswell as a COAST Socket, both are empty.

I have an AMD K6 2 (Note No +) 500mhz processor so according to this article (http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20000725/t2p4-04.html), the CPU does not have a on - die L2 cache(?)

I would love to get this board running as fast as possible so could someone please tell me what I need for these 2 sockets.

If you need any more info just ask.
Thanks
Regards Matt

Wow, I don't have any TAG RAM, I do have several COAST modules, 256kb and possibly 512kb (if I haven't given away the 512's yet).

Do you still have any of these items?

Yes. I have one 256k and one 512k. Be aware that a maximum of 512k is supported, so if you already have 256k plus a COAST slot, you'll max it out with the 256k part.

I believe I already have 256 onboard, but just for grins, how much for each? We're in zip code 32563.

$3 for the 256k, $5 for the 512k...and the 512k won't work if you have 256k onboard.

Shipping will be $1, standard mail. These are flat enough to fit in an envelope.

Now I just have to find the right kind of envelope to protect one...
