Windows 7 cannot connect to LAN

Hi,
Brand new PC with OEM Win 7 Pro installed by supplier. Cannot connect to home LAN.
Disable, re-enable NIC - no change
Un-install, re-install Drivers - no change
manually set IP - no change
change "auto negotiate" to 100mbs - no change

Short of re-installing entire OS I'm stumped. HELP !!!!!

Do you have two NICs on your mobo?If so try the other.
